A picture really is worth a thousand words. One of my favorite photos that my photographer captured was my bouquet toss. From underneath the scene (he was literally laying down on the ground) he captured my maid of honor knocking out my cousin to grab the bouquet. He managed to capture a range of pictures from the initial ‘bump into each other’ to the knocking off of the eye glasses and the almost broken nose- true story.

What are their travel rules, prices, and policies.
What is included in each package-try to grab a photographer that can offer you a DVD of all your negatives.
Ask to see the photographers portfolio of work and view any testimonials.
Be firm with your photographer-make sure you let him/her know your vision and style-whether it be classical or contemporary and edgy.
Ask about deposits-most photographers include a down payment to book your date.
Ask about an apprentice to capture additional behind the scene footage-the company I hired was training someone and they let them come along for free-more frames to choose from for nothing!
